February 14, 2009

Jet Set GO! the comedic story of the lives and experiences of an airline cabin crews premiered at the ‘08 Edinburgh Festival. The show is now set to transfer to the Jermyn Street theatre in April 09.

The show has already had its debut in London, showing at Theatre503, in Sept 08.

The play features both lust and love at high altitude, with characters such as Julie, a South American air stewardess, who has a different lover in every country.

The Edinburgh premier received much accolade, and the Dominic Cavendish, of the Telegraph said it was ‘delightful, inventive and witty”.

The show has lyrics by Jake Brunger, a Royal Court Young Writers Programme member, and Pippa Cleary, whom won the 2007 notes for the stage competition.

Pippa is studying in her final year at Bristol Uni, and has, in the past, composed scores for productions that have ran at both the Wickham Theatre, and the Edinburgh Festival.

The production at the Jermyn Street theatre is in collaboration with Take Note Theatre, an organisation aiming to enhance the accessibility of the Musical, helping a much wider audience, from a larger cross section of society to enjoy the Arts.

The show is directed by Luke Sheppard, the founder of Take Note Theatre.
